Part-Time PE Teacher

Mack Elementary Campus | Woodinville, WA | 2025 – 2026 Academic Year

Salary: $13,000 – $22,320 – Placement on teacher pay scale (determined by prior experience) – This is the remainder of the 2025-26 school year contract

Job Summary:

Prepare and teach physical education curriculum in grades 1-6.

General Responsibilities:

  • The Elementary Physical Education Teacher working at Mack Elementary should model to students, colleagues and the Bellevue Christian School community an attitude of Christ-like servanthood, cooperation, accuracy and accountability. He/she must be prepared to answer questions with a spirit of patience and honesty. Conflicts that arise are to be resolved through the Matthew 18 principle.
  • The goal of Bellevue Christian School employees is to prepare young people to live fully for God in a rapidly changing world, with the ability to understand, evaluate and transform their world from the foundation of God’s unchanging values.
  • The teacher is to work with the students in a spirit of genuine Christian love and to demonstrate a vital living relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.

  • Develop lesson plans and use instructional materials which recognize the differences of students and their learning styles. Within lessons include skills with various equipment, fitness, games, gymnastics and movement skills, and sports skills.
  • Be a positive promoter for the school by endeavoring to develop and maintain a strong and friendly relationship with the school as well as between the school and home.
  • Participate in extra-curricular activities, committees, staff meetings, etc. as deemed necessary by the administration.
  • Provide quarterly reports to classroom teachers for report cards.
  • Continue to improve personal standards and professional qualifications by pursuing further education as required by the district.
  • Work with the school faculty, staff and administration in accordance with Biblical principles.

Staff Positions

After School Program Manager

Mack Elementary & Three Points Elementary Schools | Woodinville, WA

Working Hours: Part-Time, 2:45-6:15pm Monday-Friday

Salary: between $21.61 – $25.34 per hour, depending on experience

Job Summary:

The After School Program (ASP) manager will have overall responsibility for the design and implementation of BCS’s ASP program. As the After School Program Manager, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the educational experience of our students by planning, implementing, and overseeing a wide range of after-school activities. You will be responsible for coordinating various programs, recruiting, and training staff, and ensuring the safety and well-being of all participants. Your creativity, organization, and passion for providing students with opportunities for personal growth and development will be essential in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Program Development:

  • Develop and implement a wide range of engaging after-school activities program that aligns with the interests and needs of students.
  • Create a yearly calendar of activities and events, considering both academic and recreational options.

Staff Recruitment and Training:

  • Recruit, hire, and train a team of qualified activity leads and helpers.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance for staff.

Safety and Supervision:

  • Establish and enforce safety protocols and guidelines for all activities and events.
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive environment for all participants.
  • If not on campus and the lead is on campus, the program manager will be on call from 2:45-6:15.

Student Supervision and Engagement

  • Actively supervise students indoors and outdoors; remain attentive and always maintain safety.
  • Welcome and manage all students not picked up immediately after school, including those staying for aftercare or transitioning to enrichment classes.
  • Build relationships with students, promote group cohesion, and foster a respectful and inclusive environment.
  • Encourage positive play, help students’ problem-solve, and support social-emotional development.

Communication and Promotion:

  • Communicate program offerings, schedules, and updates to students, parents, and the school community.
  • Develop marketing materials to promote the program and attract new participants.

Evaluation and Improvement:

  • Monitor the effectiveness of activities and collect feedback from participants to continually improve the program.
  • Make data-driven decisions to enhance the quality of offerings.

Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with school administration to ensure alignment with academic goals and school values.

Additional Details:

  • Must work in a manner satisfactory to supervisor.
  • Use tact and courtesy when dealing with parents, students, teachers, and administrators.

Work Requirements:

Marketing and Design Specialist

District Office | Clyde Hill, WA

Working Hours: Full-Time; 1.0 FTE

Salary: between $46,500 – $56,600, depending on experience

Job Summary:

The Marketing and Design Specialist works in a small team that manages Bellevue Christian School’s communication and marketing. General responsibilities include creating the messages and creative assets that convey the BCS brand in the school’s website, social media, advertising, graphic design, and events as well as implementing internal and external communications plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage projects to completion with clear communication to align internal and external partners. This may include managing print jobs, finding strategic partners, communicating with our advertising consultants, etc.
  • Collaborate to produce 30 second marketing videos and 2-3 minute spotlight films
  • Shoot still photos when needed
  • Manage asset library of photos and project files
  • Strategize about how to extend brand toward innovative applications; create excitement and school spirit around school identity both internally and externally.
  • Create and maintain a calendar to keep marketing projects organized (social media posts, films, print media projects, campus activity coverage)
  • Update social media weekly and maintain central messaging of BCS brand
  • Update media on the digital screens on each campus
  • Design and produce print media for commercial printing as well as some in-house printing
  • Maintain relationship with Spirit store vendor; strategize and design new merchandise
  • Update website and design new pages in WordPress with Elementor plugin
  • Ensure internal content production meets brand standards
  • Produce and measure digital ad campaigns
  • Build and maintain Veracross portals and pages (our school information system)
  • Assist with creating templates in Canva for campuses to use
  • Manage and respond to tickets requesting marketing assistance by campus personnel. Communicate a system for rounds of revisions and deadlines for feedback regarding projects
  • Work closely with different school departments during certain District-wide events to make sure their media, print, and web needs are met (Admissions in spring, Development in March, and high school office during graduation).

Qualifications (required):

Work Requirements

Preschool Teacher

Mack Campus | Woodinville, WA | 2026 – 2027 Academic Year

Salary: $23.52 – $28.35 per hour DOE

Start Date: August 2026

Working Hours: Monday – Friday from 8am-12pm

Qualifications (required):

  • Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Have a completed Short Certificate (20 ECE credits) or equivalent. If not, working toward completing the education requirements or equivalent.
  • CPR and First Aid certified.
  • Complete the applicable preservice requirements, pursuant to WAC 110-300-0105.
  • Document professional development and health training annually using the MERIT system.

The preschool teacher is responsible for:

  • Teaching children about God and the Bible, sharing the love of Jesus with students and parents through your words and actions, praying for your children, and teaching students to exhibit character traits that glorify the Lord.
  • Helping to teach and implement our chapel curriculum, SongStory, in the classroom.

Setting up the environment:

  • Create an inviting environment in your classroom where children are encouraged to learn and explore through a variety of activities, emphasizing the process, not the product.
  • Set up and take down invitations to play/table activities for your classroom daily. Rotate larger centers like dramatic play, library, sensory bin, science, etc. at least monthly.
  • Coordinate room arrangements with assistant including set-up in August and clean-up in June.
  • Maintain a classroom environment that complies with the Foundational Quality Standards found in Chapter 110-300 of the WAC.

Curriculum planning and development:

  • Know what is developmentally appropriate for the age child you teach through attending appropriate forms of professional enrichment and using the Essential Learning Goals & Objectives document.
  • Create weekly lesson plans and monthly units integrating Zoophonics, Handwriting Without Tears, Songstory, our Preschool FOSS kit, and other self-created units and lessons.
  • Provide learning experiences/invitations to learn that are developmentally appropriate, hands-on, varied, and play-based to help children learn about the world God has created.
  • Plan for experiences that help children grow in all areas of development–social-emotional, large and small muscle, faith formation, communication, language, literacy, and cognition.
  • Teach children how to use supplies appropriately and to be responsible for cleaning up and taking care of materials.
  • Provide opportunities to build relationships between children and a sense of community within the class.
  • Encourage individual creativity and appreciation for the uniqueness of each child in your class that God has entrusted to you.
  • Maintain curriculum standards and guidelines as listed in the Interactions and Curriculum Section of the WAC.

Supervision, Health, and Safety:

  • Maintain WAC safety requirements and monitor classroom for safety. Notify Director/Assistant Director of any items that need repair or replacement.
  • Maintain a 1:10 ratio or better at all times.
  • Be familiar with the campus Emergency Procedure Plan and Health Policy.
  • Provide opportunities for children to practice safety procedures (fire, earthquake, evacuation, and lock- down).
  • In the event of an injury, complete Student Injury form and communicate details with parents and director.
  • Instruct and encourage children to put on coat, wash hands, clean up after snack, and develop independent self-help skills.
  • Ensure that children are accompanied to the bathroom.

Communication:

  • Write an introductory letter to families.
  • Provide monthly communication to parents in a Veracross Post to include curriculum themes, Bible verse/stories, learning goals, description of the connections between daily activities and learning goals, upcoming events.
  • Send monthly calendar to families.
  • Observe and document the growth and development of students throughout the school year.
  • Complete Developmental Assessments for each child (November and March).
  • Provide opportunities for families to provide input and ask questions.
  • Return phone calls and email within 48 hours whenever possible.

Collaboration:

  • Attend collaboration and planning meetings, prepare lesson plans and monthly calendars, and provide a copy of all class calendars and newsletters to the Director.
  • Provide positive encouragement to other staff members. Pray together daily.
  • Research new curriculum for positive learning experiences and share them with other teachers.

Professional Conduct

  • Complete paperwork and reimbursements in a timely manner.
  • Arrive on campus at least 20 minutes before class begins.
  • Dress appropriately and professionally – Sandals and flip flops should not be worn to school. Jeans must be neat. Exercise/yoga clothing should not be worn to work.
  • Refrain from using cell phones while children are present.
  • Maintain confidentiality when discussing information about children or families.
  • Do not participate in gossip.
  • Be cautious about use of social media.

Bus Driver

District-wide | Designated Bus Routes

Shifts can start in Renton, Woodinville or Bellevue!

Salary: $30.00 – $35.00 per hour

Working Hours: 6 hours/day guaranteed during school year, job share/part-time will be considered

Responsibilities:

  • This person is responsible for driving a designated regular school bus route daily.
  • Additional hours for athletic and special activities may be available.
  • Six hours/day guaranteed during school days.
  • Will consider job-share if candidate is interested in a 2-3 day/week schedule

Benefits package includes: Paid time off includes paid sick/personal time. Up to 50% tuition discount at BCS for dependents.

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • CDL type B driver’s license with airbrakes and school bus ‘P’ & ‘S’ endorsement
  • At least 3 years of experience as a licensed driver of a passenger vehicle
  • Satisfactorily completed a school bus training course administered by an authorized school bus instructor.
  • Demonstrated Christian commitment and relationship with Jesus Christ and being active in a local church.
  • Certified in CPR/First Aid (BCS can train upon hire)
  • Background check includes: fingerprinting and FBI background check.

Substitute Teaching

All Campuses | Ongoing

Salary: $73.50 for 1-3 hours/day; $147.00 for all day

Working Hours: School Hours – will vary according to assignment

Responsibilities: Implement curriculum; class management of self-contained classroom

Requirements:

  • Current OSPI fingerprint/background clearance (BCS will facilitate)
  • In agreement with BCS doctrinal statement.
