Part-Time PE Teacher

Mack Elementary Campus | Woodinville, WA | 2025 – 2026 Academic Year

Salary: $13,000 – $22,320 – Placement on teacher pay scale (determined by prior experience) – This is the remainder of the 2025-26 school year contract

Job Summary:

Prepare and teach physical education curriculum in grades 1-6.

General Responsibilities:

  • The Elementary Physical Education Teacher working at Mack Elementary should model to students, colleagues and the Bellevue Christian School community an attitude of Christ-like servanthood, cooperation, accuracy and accountability. He/she must be prepared to answer questions with a spirit of patience and honesty. Conflicts that arise are to be resolved through the Matthew 18 principle.
  • The goal of Bellevue Christian School employees is to prepare young people to live fully for God in a rapidly changing world, with the ability to understand, evaluate and transform their world from the foundation of God’s unchanging values.
  • The teacher is to work with the students in a spirit of genuine Christian love and to demonstrate a vital living relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.
  • The teacher is to encourage improvement of the student’s personality, character, attitude and social poise through the working of the Holy Spirit.
  • Establish and maintain a gym environment conducive to physical, social, and cognitive development and personal accountability.
  • Encourage independent creative thinking, a cooperative attitude and recognition of their place in the Christian community.
  • Develop lesson plans and use instructional materials which recognize the differences of students and their learning styles. Within lessons include skills with various equipment, fitness, games, gymnastics and movement skills, and sports skills.
  • Be a positive promoter for the school by endeavoring to develop and maintain a strong and friendly relationship with the school as well as between the school and home.
  • Participate in extra-curricular activities, committees, staff meetings, etc. as deemed necessary by the administration.
  • Provide quarterly reports to classroom teachers for report cards.
  • Continue to improve personal standards and professional qualifications by pursuing further education as required by the district.
  • Work with the school faculty, staff and administration in accordance with Biblical principles.

Secondary Principal (Grades 7-12)

Clyde Hill Campus | Clyde Hill, WA

Working Hours: Full-Time; 1.0 FTE

Salary: between $115,000 – $123,000, depending on experience

Job Summary:

Bellevue Christian School is seeking a faith-filled, experienced, and inspirational leader to serve as the Junior and High School Principal. This role provides spiritual, instructional, and administrative leadership to ensure students receive a comprehensive, Christ-centered education. The principal leads faculty and staff, inspires innovation, and collaborates with parents to uphold the mission of BCS. The ideal candidate is a dedicated Christian educator with 7+ years of combined administrative and teaching experience in secondary education.

The principal will have a proven ability to lead teams, implement best practices, and foster a culture of faith and academic excellence. Strong relational, organizational, and problem-solving skills are essential, along with a commitment to mentoring faculty, supporting students’ spiritual and academic growth.

Responsibilities

School Program:

  • Provide students a well‑rounded, Christ‑centered education.
  • Develop and oversee academic programs that integrate a biblical worldview with academic excellence.
  • Address and resolve concerns fairly and respectfully.
  • Foster a welcoming and professional school environment through collaboration, communication, and service.
  • Manage timely submission of reports and compliance documentation.
  • Participate in student recruitment, admissions, and promotional efforts. Attend, facilitate, present, and/or supervise evening events including, but not limited to concerts, athletics, award events, open house, parent orientations, selected school board meetings, and graduation.
  • Ensure efficient scheduling of classes, staff, and resources to maximize student learning outcomes.
  • Maintain student records and update the student handbook as needed.
  • Implement a consistent, mission‑aligned discipline system.
  • Develop and manage the annual budget.

Faculty Leadership: 

  • Recruit, supervise and evaluate faculty, ensuring alignment with the school’s education and spiritual mission.
  • Lead faculty and staff meetings, ensuring clear communication and goal alignment.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team on curriculum development, policy updates, and professional development.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations, providing constructive feedback for growth and retention.
  • Use data to drive continuous improvement and support professional development through mentorship and training.

Community Engagement: 

  • Engage parents and community groups in student activities and school initiatives.
  • Maintain strong relationships with parents, students, and the broader community, representing the school in various settings.
  • Encourage parent engagement and volunteer involvement.

Ideal Qualifications and Attributes

The ideal candidate will be a mature Christian who models a personal, authentic relationship with Jesus Christ and demonstrates a commitment to the local church.

Additionally, the candidate will:

  • Hold an earned master’s degree, with 7+ years of teaching and educational leadership experience, preferably including within a Christian education environment.
  • Experience reporting to a Board is preferred.
  • Be well‑versed in biblical knowledge and integrate Christian worldview into all aspects of learning.
  • Demonstrate wisdom, discernment, and the ability to manage confidential information.
  • Possess proven leadership skills and a commitment to growing as a servant‑leader, building a high‑performing team.
  • Be an effective communicator who can motivate others, manage change, and clearly convey the school’s mission and vision.
  • Demonstrate an ability to plan, set priorities, and implement work in a disciplined manner, keeping multiple projects progressing to completion simultaneously with minimal direction.
  • Balance “big picture” thinking with attention to detail.
  • Possess excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

After School Program Manager

Mack Elementary & Three Points Elementary Schools | Woodinville, WA

Working Hours: Part-Time, 2:45-6:15pm Monday-Friday

Salary: between $21.61 – $25.34 per hour, depending on experience

Job Summary:

The After School Program (ASP) manager will have overall responsibility for the design and implementation of BCS’s ASP program. As the After School Program Manager, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the educational experience of our students by planning, implementing, and overseeing a wide range of after-school activities. You will be responsible for coordinating various programs, recruiting, and training staff, and ensuring the safety and well-being of all participants. Your creativity, organization, and passion for providing students with opportunities for personal growth and development will be essential in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

Program Development:

  • Develop and implement a wide range of engaging after-school activities program that aligns with the interests and needs of students.
  • Create a yearly calendar of activities and events, considering both academic and recreational options.

Staff Recruitment and Training:

  • Recruit, hire, and train a team of qualified activity leads and helpers.
  • Provide ongoing support and guidance for staff.

Safety and Supervision:

  • Establish and enforce safety protocols and guidelines for all activities and events.
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive environment for all participants.
  • If not on campus and the lead is on campus, the program manager will be on call from 2:45-6:15.

Student Supervision and Engagement

  • Actively supervise students indoors and outdoors; remain attentive and always maintain safety.
  • Welcome and manage all students not picked up immediately after school, including those staying for aftercare or transitioning to enrichment classes.
  • Build relationships with students, promote group cohesion, and foster a respectful and inclusive environment.
  • Encourage positive play, help students’ problem-solve, and support social-emotional development.

Communication and Promotion:

  • Communicate program offerings, schedules, and updates to students, parents, and the school community.
  • Develop marketing materials to promote the program and attract new participants.

Evaluation and Improvement:

  • Monitor the effectiveness of activities and collect feedback from participants to continually improve the program.
  • Make data-driven decisions to enhance the quality of offerings.

Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with school administration to ensure alignment with academic goals and school values.

Work Requirements:

  • Ability to speak before groups of people with poise, voice control and confidence

Bus Driver

District-wide | Designated Bus Routes

Shifts can start in Renton, Woodinville or Bellevue!

Salary: $30.00 – $35.00 per hour

Working Hours: 6 hours/day guaranteed during school year, job share/part-time will be considered

Responsibilities:

  • This person is responsible for driving a designated regular school bus route daily.
  • Additional hours for athletic and special activities may be available.
  • Six hours/day guaranteed during school days.
  • Will consider job-share if candidate is interested in a 2-3 day/week schedule

Benefits package includes: Paid time off includes paid sick/personal time. Up to 50% tuition discount at BCS for dependents.

Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • CDL type B driver’s license with airbrakes and school bus ‘P’ & ‘S’ endorsement
  • At least 3 years of experience as a licensed driver of a passenger vehicle
  • Satisfactorily completed a school bus training course administered by an authorized school bus instructor.
  • Demonstrated Christian commitment and relationship with Jesus Christ and being active in a local church.
  • Certified in CPR/First Aid (BCS can train upon hire)
  • Background check includes: fingerprinting and FBI background check.

Substitute Teaching

All Campuses | Ongoing

Salary: $73.50 for 1-3 hours/day; $147.00 for all day

Working Hours: School Hours – will vary according to assignment

Responsibilities: Implement curriculum; class management of self-contained classroom

Requirements:

  • Current OSPI fingerprint/background clearance (BCS will facilitate)
  • In agreement with BCS doctrinal statement.
