Since graduating from Bellevue Christian (Class of 2023) I have pivoted to college life, pursuing a major in Sports Management at Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon. I have lots of family in Oregon, so it’s comforting to know I am around people who love and cherish me.

When I was in the process of looking for a college that best suited me, I looked for a place where I knew my education would grow while also playing soccer. Soccer has been important to me my whole life, but I ended up deciding that college soccer wasn’t for me. I met with the head coach after the season was over and decided to leave the team. She asked me to take time to consider my decision, but I knew what was right for me. Soon after, my favorite assistant soccer coach, who also happens to be the head lacrosse coach, reached out to see how I was feeling. She knew I was a hard worker and that I was also passionate about sports and asked if I would be interested in joining the lacrosse team. I figured I had nothing to lose while trying something brand new and decided to give it a shot. The lacrosse team changed me for the better and taught me so much about life. I knew God had plans for me and wanted me to continue sports in some way, but I never thought I’d try a completely different sport at the college level. Now, about to go into my sophomore year of college, I’m excited to see what new adventures the next year holds for me. Go Boxers (and Vikings)!!
