High School Math Teacher (Full-time or Part-time available)

Clyde Hill Campus| Clyde Hill, WA | 2019 – 2020 Academic Year

Salary: Placement on Salary Schedule (determined by prior experience and education)

Start Date: Around August 15th, 2019

Working Hours: Full-time; 1.0 FTE (Part-time assignment is also a possibility)

Responsibilities: Curriculum implementation and class management of High School Math classes.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Washington State Certification (required)
  • Demonstrated Christian commitment and relationship with Jesus Christ and being active in a local church. (required)
  • Math endorsement (strongly preferred)
  • Experience teaching Advanced Algebra or higher (preferred)

Elementary Teacher (Single Grade Level Placement)

Essential Job Duties:

  • Manage extended day programs and summer camps
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Develop and launch new program
  • Ability to multitask and work closely with campus principals, Athletic Director, facilities, external vendors and Central Office staff while coordinating all aspects of programs.
  • Communicate regularly with students’ parents and staff and establish positive, collaborative relationships

Qualifications (required)

  • 1+ years’ experience in coordinating and scheduling people/staffing, programs and facilities
  • 1+ years’ experience researching, evaluating and designing programs within an educational setting

  • Strong proficiency with MS Office Suite

Job Summary:  This position provides solid local technical support services to all school campuses located in Clyde Hill, Medina, and Woodinville. Those services involve tracking, planning, provisioning, and support of Windows client-based systems and local server applications that support the curriculum of the school. Occasionally this position will triage network infrastructure issues and help facilitate necessary changes to maintain maximum uptime of the network. This is a customer interfacing position that requires interpersonal and technical communication skills.

Qualifications (required):

  • AA degree in technical field such as IT or equivalent experience.
  • Effective interpersonal skills in supporting staff and students at campus locations.
  • Demonstrated Christian commitment and relationship with Jesus Christ and being active in a local church. (required)

Qualifications (desired):

  • Some knowledge of operating systems, including Windows Server, Windows 10, Unix variant or Apple platforms.
  • Entry level experience supporting Microsoft Active Directory domains and setup of accounts.
  • Some background with automated deployments.
  • Some understanding of email systems and desktop products.
  • Experience connecting computers/equipment to wired and wireless networks.

Responsibilities:  Teacher assistants support elementary full time school personnel. Job includes classroom aide work and recess supervision. This may include: correcting papers, putting up bulletin boards, leading and working with small groups, redirecting students, walking throughout the classroom and engaging students to check for understanding and task completion.

Requirements:

  • A willingness to work outside in variable weather conditions during recess assignments
  • Able to operate semi-independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to follow classroom schedules and assignments given by teachers.

Activity Bus Driver
District-wide | Designated Bus Routes Immediately Available!

Salary: Starts at $19.00 per hour DOE

Working Hours: 5 hours/day guaranteed during school year

Responsibilities: This person is responsible for driving a designated regular school bus route daily in an activity bus or van. Additional hours for athletic and special activities may be available.  Five hours a day guaranteed during school days.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 5 – 10 years of experience as a licensed driver.
    • Department of Motor Vehicles report will be required (driving abstract)
  • First–Aid / CPR card (required within 60 days of employment)
  • In agreement with the BCS Doctrinal Statement.
  • Ability to meet and maintain punctuality and attendance expectations
  • Fingerprinting with FBI background check is a part of employment.

Responsibilities: This person is responsible for driving a designated regular school bus route daily. Additional hours for athletic and special activities may be available.  Five hours a day guaranteed during school days.

Requirements: Must be at least 25 years of age; a CDL type B with airbrakes. School bus “S’ endorsement is preferred but not required (will provide training for qualified applicants);  at least 5 years of experience as a licensed driver of a passenger vehicle, satisfactorily completed a school bus training course administered by an authorized school bus instructor, in agreement with the BCS Doctrinal Statement.  Must meet Washington State driving abstract standards for school bus drivers; fingerprinting with FBI background check is a part of employment.

Responsibilities: This person is responsible for driving athletic and special activities primarily in the evening. Typical shift would start between 4-7pm.

Requirements:

  • Possess a High School diploma or equivalent.
  • A CDL type B with airbrakes. (condition of employment).
    • School bus “S’ endorsement is preferred but not required.
    • (BCS will reimburse costs for CDL if acquired within 60 days of hire date).
  • 10 years driving experience with a good driving record for the past (5 years).

Extended Day Afternoon Instructor

Three Points & Mack Elementary |Woodinville/Medina, WA

Salary: $18 per hour

Working Hours: Part-time, 3 to 4.5 hours per day.

– 2:30pm – 5:30pm and 1:00pm-5:30pm* on early dismissal days Monday – Friday

(*6:00pm for Three Points)

Responsibilities:

Extended Day Instructors are responsible the supervision and involved interaction with students brought to campus for Extended Afternoon Care. Responsibilities include supervision of homework time, playground and indoor activities, crafts along with transition of students to Extended Day Classes. Coordination with Extended Day Coordinator for all students login/out records, management of supplies and development of indoor activities.

Qualifications (required):

  • Certified in CPR/First Aid (or willingness to be certified as soon as possible upon hire)
  • Solid behavior management skills
  • Ability to plan, develop, organize and monitor meaningful/educational activities
  • Experience working with children/youth (preferably in an educational or ministerial environment)
  • A willingness to engage with children in varied activities

Working Hours: Part-time. Potential for variances based on need during the school year.

  • Monday – Friday (7:15am – 8:30am)

Responsibilities: Responsible for the care of elementary students before school hours. Supervision and involved interaction with students brought to campus for Extended Morning Care.

Requirements: Agreement and support of BCS Doctrinal Basis and Philosophical Foundations. Certified in CPR/First Aid (or willingness to be certified as soon as possible upon hire). Experience working with children/youth in an educational or ministerial environment.
