  • Experience teaching Advanced Algebra or higher (preferred)

Job Summary:  This position provides solid local technical support services to all school campuses located in Clyde Hill, Medina, and Woodinville. Those services involve tracking, planning, provisioning, and support of Windows client-based systems and local server applications that support the curriculum of the school. Occasionally this position will triage network infrastructure issues and help facilitate necessary changes to maintain maximum uptime of the network. This is a customer interfacing position that requires interpersonal and technical communication skills.

Qualifications (required):

  • AA degree in technical field such as IT or equivalent experience.
  • Effective interpersonal skills in supporting staff and students at campus locations.
  • Demonstrated Christian commitment and relationship with Jesus Christ and being active in a local church. (required)

Qualifications (desired):

  • Some knowledge of operating systems, including Windows Server, Windows 10, Unix variant or Apple platforms.
  • Entry level experience supporting Microsoft Active Directory domains and setup of accounts.
  • Some background with automated deployments.
  • Some understanding of email systems and desktop products.
  • Experience connecting computers/equipment to wired and wireless networks.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 25 years of age
  • CDL type B driver’s license with airbrakes, and school bus ‘S’ endorsement (will provide training for qualified applicants if necessary)
  • At least 5 years of experience as a licensed driver of a passenger vehicle
  • Satisfactorily completed a school bus training course administered by an authorized school bus instructor
  • Demonstrated Christian commitment and relationship with Jesus Christ and being active in a local church.
  • Certified in CPR/First Aid (BCS can train upon hire)
  • Must meet Washington State driving abstract standards for school bus drivers
  • Background check includes: fingerprinting and FBI background check.

Responsibilities: This person is responsible for driving a designated regular school bus route daily in an activity bus or van. Additional hours for athletic and special activities may be available.  Five hours a day guaranteed during school days.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 5 – 10 years of experience as a licensed driver.
    • Department of Motor Vehicles report will be required (driving abstract)
  • First–Aid / CPR card (required within 60 days of employment)
  • In agreement with the BCS Doctrinal Statement.
  • Ability to meet and maintain punctuality and attendance expectations
  • Fingerprinting with FBI background check is a part of employment.

Additional Details

  • Requires the ability to be flexible and adapt to changing situations and conditions.
  • Ability to communicate openly and honestly with fellow employees and public at large.
  • Ability to make decisions quickly and use good judgment.

Requirements:

  • Possess a High School diploma or equivalent.

Extended Day Afternoon Instructor

Responsibilities:

Extended Day Instructors are responsible the supervision and involved interaction with students brought to campus for Extended Afternoon Care. Responsibilities include supervision of homework time, playground and indoor activities, crafts along with transition of students to Extended Day Classes. Coordination with Extended Day Coordinator for all students login/out records, management of supplies and development of indoor activities.

Qualifications (required):

  • Demonstrated Christian commitment and relationship with Jesus Christ and being active in a local church.
  • Certified in CPR/First Aid (or willingness to be certified as soon as possible upon hire)
  • Solid behavior management skills
  • Ability to plan, develop, organize and monitor meaningful/educational activities
  • Experience working with children/youth (preferably in an educational or ministerial environment)
  • A willingness to engage with children in varied activities
