Since 1950, Bellevue Christian School has believed in the importance of educating students from a distinctively Christian perspective. With this endeavor in mind, faithful parents, alumni, staff, businesses, and foundations have financially partnered with BCS to accomplish the mission of preparing young people to live faithfully for God.

Your gift to Bellevue Christian School is an investment in our school and in our exceptional students and faculty. With your support of time, treasure, and talent, we are able to create the best environment for our students and for that we thank you!

With students at the center of our work, the Institutional Advancement Department helps to build community among parents, alumni, and friends and to raise the funds necessary for Bellevue Christian to achieve its mission. This means keeping BCS inclusive and accessible through support from people like you who value a BCS education. Your contributions make a significant impact in the lives of the students who learn here.

Bellevue Christian School gratefully acknowledges the generosity of the individuals and organizations who invest in building our educational tradition. Read our 2016-17 Gratitude Report for more information.

If you have questions about your gift or how it is used, please contact Kirk Utzinger in the Development Office or call 425-454-4402 x 1208.

Whether you have time, resources or both to share, your support of Bellevue Christian School is welcome and deeply appreciated. There are a number of ways you can get involved in supporting the mission of BCS. Explore the links below to learn more.

Ways To Give

Coordinated by Bellevue Christian School Librarians

The Bellevue Christian School Libraries play an important role in the BCS mission  “To prepare young people to live faithfully for God in a rapidly changing world with the ability to understand, evaluate, and transform their world from the foundation of God’s unchanging values.” By providing a variety of fiction and non-fiction books, our libraries offer windows into our rapidly changing world; afford our students opportunities to understand that world; and encourage critical thinking, compassion, and knowledge so those students can evaluate and transform their world from the foundation of God’s unchanging values.

While Bellevue Christian School is able to support each libraries’ collection with a modest budget for new book purchases, we could always use fresh titles to ensure our library has a supply of new and interesting options.

Endowments are permanent funds given to Bellevue Christian which use the resulting investment income for a specific purpose. Some endowments are scholarships and others are used to financially support program areas.

Throughout the year, there are several opportunities to give through a variety of events that take place. These events support individual campuses, particular programs or the whole district. Your participation in events is a great way to build relationships with other members of the BCS community while supporting a common cause.

The Founders Fund supports the core operating budget of Bellevue Christian School. Your gift is used for school programs, tuition assistance, general operating costs, faculty professional development, and much, much more. Unrestricted gifts to the Founders Fund provide the most flexibility in supporting students.

Founders Fund appeals are sent out to all BCS families, alumni, and friends twice a year.

If you would like more information about the Founders Fund, please email the Development office.

We are pleased to receive gifts of goods or services that may provide a budgetary savings to the school or fulfill a particular departmental need. Document your donation via the Gift-In-Kind Donation Form below and email the form to the Development Office. We recommend you consult your tax adviser to explore the tax benefits specific to such a gift.

Do you shop at Fred Meyer, Amazon or Red Robin? Simply link your Rewards cards from an of these retailers and BCS will benefit!

The rebates from these retailers provide unrestricted general operating support for Bellevue Christian School. Thank you for your partnership in the BCS mission of preparing students to live faithfully for God!

Make your donations go twice as far. Do you know that many companies match donations made by their employees to Bellevue Christian School? A few local examples are Bank of America, Boeing, Expedia, Google, Microsoft, Wells Fargo and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. Please check with your employers HR department to access the appropriate forms, guidelines and instructions.

Your financial partnership makes it possible to provide Bellevue Christian School students with meaningful opportunities to serve others. Students take part in Mission Experiences to Costa Rica or Thailand. Thank you for your desire to join these students in their effort to affect people’s lives for the Kingdom of God for eternity, and be deeply affected in return.

The Greene Heritage Society seeks to honor the vision of Bellevue Christian School founders Joseph and Al Greene, Jr. It also recalls to mind the first planned gift to the school, the Clyde Hill property on which the Junior-Senior High is located. This property was a gift from the founders’ parents, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Greene, Sr., in 1951.

Bellevue Christian School formed the Greene Heritage Society in 1994 to
recognize individuals who believed in the mission and were committed to ensure the school’s long-term financial stability. The Society will sponsor forums for the BCS community to encourage biblical stewardship and planned giving. Contributions are typically made through bequests in a will, charitable trusts, life insurance, securities, and significant memorial gifts and financial contributions to the school.

Email the Development Office or call 425-454-4402 x210 for more information.

We are grateful for the spiritual encouragement and protection your prayers provide. Please include Bellevue Christian School students, faculty, and staff in your prayers on an ongoing basis.

There are many scholarships for providing tuition assistance for students and their families. Follow the link below to learn more about the assortment of scholarships established by, and named after individual BCS community members.

In lieu of applying your Scrip rebate to tuition or receiving a cash rebate, you may opt to donate your rebate to the BCS Founders Fund, Financial Aid, or designate it to a particular BCS program. Simply complete the Scrip Registration Form below, noting your donation preference, and send via email to the Scrip Coordinator before purchasing Scrip.

Appreciated Stock

Making a gift to Bellevue Christian School of appreciated stock that has been held for more than one year provides a two–fold tax benefit to you, which reduces the net cost of the gift.
