Employee Referral Program

Bellevue Christian School is always looking for good people, and you can help! Your knowledge and experience working with us is the best attribute in supporting us finding the right “fit” for Teachers.  Research has shown, and our own experience supports, that new hires who come into a company through employee referrals are excellent contributors, stay with the company longer and are a more cost effective recruit.

That’s where you come in! If you refer someone to Bellevue Christian School and they meet the qualifications for an existing open position, after 90 days of their date of hire you will be awarded up to $400 (less taxes).

Employees must refer candidates to Human Resources using the Candidate Referral Forms. If your candidate is hired you will be awarded the referral bonus after 90 days of their hire date on your next paycheck!

Program Rules

1. Referral Eligibility: All Bellevue Christian School employees, except senior administrators and Human Resources personnel, and managers with hiring authority over the referred candidates are eligible to refer candidates.

2. The referral date cannot be earlier than the date the job opening is posted. The hiring of a referred employee must occur within 180 days (six months) of the initial referral date.

3. The referral must represent the candidate’s first contact with Bellevue Christian School. Temporary, summer, contract and former employees of Bellevue Christian School are not eligible candidates for referral awards.

4. To be eligible for an award the a Candidate Referral Form must be submitted to Human Resources by the time the candidate is hired.

5. The referring employee must agree to have his/her name used for introduction.

6. The first employee to refer a candidate will be the only referring employee eligible for payment and must be clearly designated on the employee application.

7. Only candidates who meet the essential qualifications for the position will be considered.

8. All candidates will be evaluated for employment consistent with Bellevue Christian School policies and procedures.

9. All information regarding the hiring decision will remain strictly confidential.

10. Any disputes or interpretations of the program will be handled through Human Resources.

11. Referral bonus payments will be paid on the next payroll after the referred employee’s 90th day of active employment at Bellevue Christian School.

12. Referral bonus of $400 is paid for full-time 1.0 FTE faculty positions, otherwise referral bonus is determined by type of position and budgeted FTE starting at $75.
