Technology
Technology at Bellevue Christian
Bellevue Christian School believes that technological innovation is born out of God’s infinite creativity and should be used to honor others as image bearers of Jesus Christ (Colossians 1:16-17). It is the responsibility of the faculty and staff to teach all students the opportunities, limitations, and risks associated with technology. Bellevue Christian views technology as a set of digital tools that can foster empowered learning, global collaboration, creative communications, knowledge construction, computational thinking, and innovative designing. These tools are most beneficial when used by responsible digital citizens.
Bellevue Christian School is committed to equipping faculty to model discerning applications of technology in and through pedagogical approaches, instructional designs, and assessment applications that are developmentally appropriate. Technology embedded throughout the curriculum supports other disciplines to identify real needs, connect with real people, and solve real problems by creating new and imaginative solutions. This approach to and application of technology leads students to use digital tools wisely and ethically, in obedience to God and in service to Him and others.
