Board of Directors
Our Board of Directors is responsible for ensuring the school decisions align with the Mission and Philosophy of BCS and are the keepers of school policy. If you are part of our school community, you are welcome to attend any of our monthly board meetings. They generally occur on the third Thursday evening of each month (between August and May) beginning at 6pm on the Clyde Hill Campus.
BCS is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation. The Board of Directors is self-perpetuating; new members are elected each year serving up to two, 3-year terms. Board members must first be elected to the 40+ member BCS Corporation. The corporation meets annually for corporate business and to elect new board members and approve the slate of board officers. This ensures stability and stewardship of the founding Philosophy of Christian Education.
Monthly school board meetings are published on the school calendar and are open to the school community. The agendas and minutes for these meetings can be found on this page.
