We hope these BCS facts help you get a feel for the kind of intentional community you'll find here. Please reach out with any other questions you may have! firstname.lastname@example.org
... grow in their faith: Students worship together, pray together, celebrate together, and consider – together – the big questions in life.
...enjoy school: Careful consideration is taken to make sure students are connected, appreciated and taken care of. While no school is perfect and adversity is a part of life, we want kids to wake up every morning grateful that they get to live life at Bellevue Christian.
...make decisions: Our students are given the opportunity, with coaching and support, to practice decision in making in how they use their time, how they reconcile conflict, and how they approach challenges.
...live all over the Eastside and beyond: From West Seattle to Snoqualmie, from Everett to Kent, families across the region choose to send their children to Bellevue Christian.
…attend many different churches: Our families come from nearly 150 different churches, so our common commitment to Christian education is balanced by a broad range of perspectives.
...stick around: Many BCS Alumni now send their own children to school here, and several have returned as teachers or other employees!
...hold experience and wisdom: Our teachers have been teaching, on average, for 15 years and have been at BCS, on average, for 9 years.
…know and love Jesus: All of our teachers express a genuine faith life and hold a vision of understanding their subject matter through a Christian lens.
...pursue lifelong learning: More than half of our faculty hold advanced degrees. Ongoing Professional Development in areas like technology, assessment, and equity are important components of life as a teacher at BCS.
