Hello from
your 6th grader’s computer teacher,
I sure have
enjoyed working with these 6th grade students this
year. Our new computer lab has been such a fun useful blessing as
well as the continuous help from our computer lab expert Brad. I am very thankful and feel
very blessed to have the opportunity to teach 6th grade
computers here at Three Points.
I would like to
encourage you parents to encourage your children to practice their
proper keyboarding skills at home. The fast typers in our two sixth
grade classes (40-60 WPM) all tell me that they take the time at home to
practice everyday in some way, shape or form. Some practice ideas are:
typing up homework (I’m sure their teachers would love it!
J);
Instant Messenger with their friends; writing made-up stories; or
favorite chapters from the Bible. I am sure there are many other ways to
practice as well. Be creative!
So please, think
about how you can help your 6th grader consistently practice
at home. I am glad to be serving and loving your 6th grader
each Monday morning. Please contact me for any reason at
jolson@bellevuechristian.org if you have any questions. Thanks!!
