This Web site outlines the yearly development and events of the Feminist and Women's Movement. It tracks there categories: Events, Lifestyles, Economic. Political, and The Backlash. Each year provides tidbits of information on people and events.
Gifts of Speech (Speech Texts by Influential Women)
A Web site dedicated to preserving and creating access to speeches by influential women from around the world. Has a nice timeline of the speeches, which lists the speaker's name and the full text of the speech. A nice entry point to the collection. I nice source of materials for public speaking assignments.
American Women's History: A Research Guide
Women's History: A Guide to Library & Internet Resources: Includes print and audiovisual bibliographies, online books, book reviews, and links to multimedia exhibits on the Internet. The latter connects to a superb exhibit, "Upstate New York and the Women's Rights Movement: Manuscripts, photographs, and memorabilia", a thorough, interesting, well illustrated account including events like the famous Seneca Falls Convention of 1848.
The National American Woman Suffrage Association Collection
A Collection of 167 books, pamphlets and other artifacts donated by Carrie Chapman Catt, longtime president of the National American Woman Suffrage Association. Includes works from other members of the organization including: Elizabeth Cady Stanton, Susan B. Anthony, Lucy Stone, Alice Stone Blackwell, Julia Ward Howe, Elizabeth Smith Miller, Mary A. Livermore.

"This selection of 38 pictures includes portraits of many individuals who have been frequently requested from the holdings of the Prints and Photographs Division and the Manuscript Division. Also featured are photographs of suffrage parades, picketing suffragists, and an anti-suffrage display, as well as cartoons commenting on the movement."

A collection of links and information on Feminist Science Fiction, Fantasy, & Utopia. "Feminist science fiction" is not a clearly-definable term. It has been used to refer to everything from utopias (utopias and dystopias), to hard science fiction, to fantasy, to magic realism; from only fiction with a definite political agenda, to all fiction which merely includes female characters.

Excellent collection of socioeconomic data and other resources on Women. Includes an informative set of fact sheets on Women in the Workplace, plus full text Women's Rights series covering Harassment, Family and Medical Leave Act, plus Disability, Pregnancy, Age and Wage Discrimination. Also has information on their programs and activities, plus a colorful collection of posters.
Women Who Changed History
A section of the Scholastic, Inc. Web site that features in-depth reports and exhibitions about a number of women whose lives and deeds shaped history. (Rosa Parks, Amelia Earheart, Melba Patillo, Sally Ride, etc.) Appropriate for use by middle through high school grades.
