The Learning Resource Center is named in memory of Willa Penn Dorning
Krick, the great-grandparent of some BCS students. She was a high
school English teacher who loved books. She also taught homebound
students. Mrs. Krick was a teacher in the first school in the country for unwed
mothers. She is remembered for her compassion of teenagers as well as
her Christian faith. |
