Technology

The Technology Department mission at BCS is to serve the technology needs of the students, teachers and administrators of ALL BCS campuses. We have approximately 500 systems and 30 servers across a wide area network dedicated to this task. Mutiple T1's are utilized and over 50 major applications run inside our switched 1000mb and 100mb network. Students are an active part of what we do everyday. Many of the staff in the technology department are graduates of BCS! We serve this community of believers with passion and commitment in making this one of the best non profit technology programs in the country.

We have undertaken some very large projects to enhance the communication between the school, parents, and students.

A state of the art Calendaring/Event Management system is now in production. It communicates a real time schedule of events at BCS to everyone involved with BCS across the internet. This system is also linked with Transportation for their scheduling needs. Parents can use the system to recieve realtime e-mail updates when events change on the Calendar.
