Welcome Back to School! Please join us in praying for our students, families, teachers & staff as we anticipate a great year of growing in grace. Annual BCS Golf Tournament: BCS Boosters cordially invites both golfers & non-golfers to kick-off the school year Fri., Sept. 21 at the fabulous Club at Newcastle. Golfers will enjoy a scramble tournament on the China Creek course with a 1PM shotgun start; registration: 11AM. Tournament fee of $175 includes golf, cart, lunch, reception, dinner & a PUMA golf shirt. For $50, non-golfers will have a putting contest at 5PM, sunset patio reception at 6PM followed by dinner at the Prestwick Terrace. Volunteer Opportunities

Every BCS Family is encouraged to volunteer 30 hours-- just 3 hours monthly--at any campus. 

If you are a BCS group needing volunteers for an upcoming event/activity or for a regularly scheduled event, contact Lynelle Coyle: lcoyle@bellevuechristian.org with a brief (1-3 sentence) description of what is needed and include a contact name and email. 

 

All Parents interested in supporting BCS Athletics:  Boosters 1st meeting of the year is Thurs., Sept. 27. We need parent reps from each Varsity & JV sport to be involved.  Meetings will be held on the 2nd Thurs of each month, 7-9 PM beginning in Oct. as indicated on the BCS website: http://www.bellevuechristian.org/content-en/athletics_new/boosters.php  Contact Rob Young for more info: robyo@microsoft.com

 

High School

3 families needed to host German students Fri., Sept. 7--Sept. 21. Host family must be able to pick up student from airport, provide transportation to & from BCS & take student to airport for departure. Wonderful opportunity to extend hospitality & for students to experience life in a Christian home while learning about the culture & increasing language skills--most have 5-7 years of English. Junior High School

Long Lunch Volunteers: parent volunteers needed to help with long lunch activity periods, Thursdays, 12:30 - 1:25 PM.  Please email dburbick@bellevuechristian.org to help.

Jogathon volunteers: Promotion (4 people); Photography (class & event photos, 2-3 people);
Food Coordinator (1 chair includes menu planning); Field Set-up & take down (3-4 people includes music person & MC); Decorations (4 people decorate field & campus); T-Shirts (1 person); Donations (can be done at home; 1-2 people) Contact Shelli Kramer if you can

Opportunities to Support BCS Financially

Tuition supports 90% of the BCS Budget each year.  We ask each family to prayerfully consider supporting BCS financially, above and beyond tuition.  The most important and cost effective gift is one to the Annual Fund.  After that, there are many fun ways to support BCS programs and students!

Westminster Chapel invites you to a Women’s Welcoming Brunch: Sept. 15, 9:30-11:30 AM, WC Gym. Hear from Rani, born in India & sold at age 7 to a child broker then left to survive on the streets. Adopted in 1979 by a Christian American woman & brought to the U.S., her life changed forever.
