Opportunities to Support BCS Financially

Tuition supports 90% of the BCS Budget each year.  We ask each family to prayerfully consider supporting BCS financially, above and beyond tuition.  The most important and cost effective gift is one to the Annual Fund.  After that, there are many fun ways to support BCS programs and students!

You may have heard about MRSA (Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus Aureus) skin infections in recent media coverage. To protect oneself from infection, the Centers for Disease Control recommends the following:

*Keep hands clean by washing with soap & water or using an alcohol-based hand sanitizer *Cover skin abrasions or cuts with a clean dry bandage until healed

*Avoid sharing personal items that come into contact with bare skin--towels, razors-- & use a barrier such as clothing or a towel when using shared weight-training equipment

*Maintain a clean environment for frequently touched surfaces that come into direct contact with people's skin

Majority of cases have been contracted from hospitals and nursing homes.

Here's a great way to bless our troops! As you're making out your Christmas card list, please consider sending one to our American military heroes who are recuperating from wounds this holiday season. Please enclose a short note thanking them for their service and personal sacrifice.  Send to: A Recovering American Soldier, c/o Walter Reed Army Medical Center, 6900 Georgia Avenue NW, Washington, D.C. 20307-5001
