Watch for a special letter coming soon to your mailbox--hear about what our current students & recent grads are doing!

Hear ye, hear ye! Tickets for the 16th annual Madrigal Feast presented by the choral music department go on sale: Thurs., Nov. 1, 8 AM in the Greene Commons or by mail – no telephone or on-line orders.  All orders will be processed beginning Nov. 1 in the order received & tickets sell quickly! After that date, turn order forms in to the Clyde Hill campus Bookstore. Madrigal dinners take place: Thurs.-Sat., Dec. 6-8; seating at 6:45 PM.  Sun., Dec. 9 seating at 1:45 PM. Each table seats 8 maximum! Ticket purchases limited to 1 table per family to allow many people a chance to attend. Purchase 1-8 tickets. Beginning Nov. 5, you may purchase additional tickets. If any tickets are available after Dec. 1, they will only be sold at the BCS Bookstore 8:30 AM-2:30 PM. Tickets are not refundable, but the BCS Bookstore will take names on a waiting list to assist you in reselling them. Tickets are $35.00 per person. For Order forms also at HS office & Bookstore. If mailing your order, make checks payable to BCS & include order form to: BCS Bookstore, 1601 98th Ave N.E., Clyde Hill, WA 98004-3400.  Please include a self-addressed stamped envelope if  ordering by mail. All photographers & shutterbugs: We need your photos! Beginning in September and throughout the school year, we try to capture our preschool-high school students involved in BCS activities at all campuses. Jogathon, All School Carnival, Christmas events—Madrigal, concerts, class events. If you happen to take an irresistible photo, please send it to lcoyle@bellevuechristian.org Remember to ID each person in the photo & include a brief description of the activity. Keep digitals at largest setting.  

 

Auction 2008 is coming! We're gathering names of people interested in having lots of FUN planning & volunteering at our Annual Gala Dinner & Auction. Volunteer Opportunities

Every BCS Family is encouraged to volunteer 30 hours-- just 3 hours monthly--at any campus. 

If you are a BCS group needing volunteers for an upcoming event/activity or for a regularly scheduled event, contact Lynelle Coyle: lcoyle@bellevuechristian.org

with a brief (1-3 sentence) description of what is needed and include a contact name and email.

8th Grade Parent Meeting: This year, 8th grade students have the opportunity to go to the King County Courthouse, Statetrip, & Washington D.C. to gain real-life experiences & understanding about our government, state & nation. Please mark your calendars to attend a parent information meeting on Thurs., Nov. 1, 6:30-7:30 PM in the LRC. All 8th grade parents are encouraged to attend. This meeting will provide important info about the day & week long trips that will occur in Dec., May & June + an opportunity for interested Leaders to meet one another & receive application materials. November 1 Math Open House:  Join us at 7:30 PM, Greene Commons, for a special 90- min. open house focusing entirely on HS math program. Agenda include: discussion of  current curriculum, review of student performance data, insights from brain research on how students learn, hands-on math activities, summary of available resources, tips for parents to help at home & a look at various curricula reviewed for possible adoption, including CorePlus Math that was proposed last spring.
