Preschool Mission & Philosophy

BCS Preschool Mission Statement:

BCS Preschool is a place where children experience God's love because they are loved and accepted, and their uniqueness is valued and celebrated!

Our goal is to provide an environment that provides opportunities for children to grow in these areas: spiritual, social/emotional, physical (small and large motor skills), and intellectual.

• Spiritual - By encouraging awareness that each child is created and loved by God and that He has created a world for us to enjoy and explore.
• Social - By encouraging participation in small group activities, getting along with others, and by developing a feeling of security and self control.
• Physical - By encouraging experiences which will develop large and small muscle coordination and motor skills.
• Intellectual - By encouraging enthusiasm for learning and exploring through firsthand experiences.

We value the child's development and progress as progress, not to be hurried. We allow them to make their own choices and know that as they play, they are beginning to understand their world.
