Bookstore

Junior and senior high school students at BCS purchase their own textbooks. Books (including used books when available) may be purchased from another student or from the BCS Bookstore located around the corner from the Commons and Deli. A schedule of Bookstore hours is posted. All books are sold on a cash basis.

You are expected to own copies of all books required for all of your classes. Failure to obtain the books can result in loss of credit for the course. Lost books are your responsibility. Protect yourself by clearly labeling each book with your name on the inside front cover.

The Bookstore will buy back books that are to be used the following year. The repurchase price of a book that has been well treated will usually be about 40-60% of what you originally paid for it. A badly worn or marked book will be worth less. Students are strongly encouraged to use book covers.

The Bookstore will not pay cash for used books. Credit will be issued for the purchase of books at the beginning of the next school year. For seniors and those not returning to BCS, a check for the balance will be sent to the parent(s).
