Advanced Placement Courses
Advanced Placement (AP) Courses are offered in English Literature and Composition, U.S. History, Calculus AB & BC and Spanish every year; Chemistry and Physics B on alternating years. Accelerated mathematics and science programs are offered beginning in junior high school. Honors and IB tracks are not offered.
Graduates have earned AP Scholar Awards in recognition of their exceptional achievement on AP Exams including: AP Scholar with Distinction Award for earning an average grade of at least 3.5 on all AP Exams taken, and grades of 3 or higher on five or more of these exams; students earned AP Scholar with Honor Awards for earning an average grade of at least 3.25 on all AP Exams taken, and grades of 3 or higher on 4 or more of these exams; six students qualified for the AP Scholar Award by completing three or more AP Exams with grades of 3 or higher.
